UK Visa Application Centre TLS Contact is experiencing technical problems

Visas.Consulting

The new system of documents electronic upload of the UK Visa Application Centre TLS Contact, introduced at the beginning of the 2019 year, leaves much to be desired.

Mandatory scanning of documents and electronic upload before visiting the visa centre by the applicant or in the centre by visa specialists, is accompanied by a large number of technical problems.
The most common of them are:

  • Documents electronic upload on the website of the UK Visa Application Centre before the visit takes much longer than 30 minutes, as indicated on their page,
  • If you have a successful electronic download, after some time before visiting the Visa Application Centre, your documents may disappear from your account. And you will be informed about this only by the specialist of the visa centre when you come to bring your passport and pass the biometric data,
  • The page for electronic loading of documents may simply not open.

In any of the above cases UK.Visas.Consulting recommends to prepare beforehand and to take all prepared documents in a paper version. In addition, you should make a printscreen from the website of the UK Visa Application centre TLS Contact to confirm that there was a technical error. Thus, the documents in the visa centre should be scanned for free. If you cannot prove that you have not been able to download documents in advance due to a technical error, you will have to pay, for the russian centers, the amount of 2100 rubles for the electronic upload service by specialists of the UK visa Application Centre.

The last collapse occurred on the 12th of May 2019. UK visa applicants can not download documents on the TLS Contact website. On the 15th of May 2019 this problem is not yet solved, the system is on the refinement.
